Constance "Connie" Wright Bittner

Constance Wright Bittner, 73, of Fincastle passed away Wednesday October 19, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Celia Wright; sisters, Joan “Joannie” Taylor & Elaine Welch; grandchildren, Dixie and Dustin Witt.

Connie is survived by daughter, Jennifer (Dave) Sumner; close family friend and caregiver, Ginger Sparks; sister, Helen McCullough; brothers, James “Jimmy” (Janet) Wright and Robert Wright; grandchildren, Bethany Kicker, John W. Dudley Jr, and Jacob Wallis; 8 Great children; numerous nieces and nephews; special cousin, Marion Stelmashuk, Johnny and Pauline. A special thank you for the caring services of Sarah and Anita at

Good Sam Hospice. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Botetourt Funeral Home in Buchanan, VA. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm with the service following at 2:00 pm.
