Cody Tyler Simmons

Cody Tyler Simmons, 26 of Eagle Rock, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Simmons, great-grandparents, Alfred and Mae Coffey; and step-brother, Justin Rhodes. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Madilyn Simmons; special child, Abigail Simmons; mother and step-father, Pamala and Andrew Rhodes of Eagle Rock; father and step-mother, David and Susan Simmons of Roanoke; brothers, Wyatt and Benjamin Simmons of Chantilly; grandparents, Floyd and Helen Coffey; Meno Simmons all of Eagle Rock; special uncles, Jeffery Coffey and Randy Coffey, special aunt, Ellen Morris; and numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral Services will be held 11am Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Eagle Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
