Chester Drew Schechterly

Chester Drew Schechterly, 80, of Buchanan, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ella Smith Schechterly. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cubby Schechterly; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Tom Babcock of Pennsylvania; son and daughter-in-law, E.D. and Bonnie Schechterly of Roanoke; granddaughter, Mirandia and Matt Gouker of Lexington, Mirandia's mother, Teresa Schechterly; and sister, Earlea Schechterly of Pennsylvania. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2010 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan (254-3000).
