Charles Michael Johnson

Charles Michael Johnson, 73, of Roanoke, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, April 19, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Patricia Johnson. Born January 28, 1951, he was a 1969 graduate of Roanoke Catholic High School and graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 1973 and Indiana University in 1978. Mike retired from Public Affairs with the US Army Cadet Command.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert D. and Mary Ann Sloan Johnson, Mark A. Johnson, and David G. and Donneta Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 1:30pm, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in Evergreen Burial Park with Father Kevin from St. Andrews officiating. The family would like to thank Friendship Health and Rehab Center South for their kind and loving care for Mike in the past year he has been there.
