Cecil Lee Slusser

Cecil Lee Slusser, 73, of Eagle Rock, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Cecil had retired from Carter Machinery as a Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic with over 45 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hunter Lee and Blanche Brizendine Slusser; brother, Charles Slusser; sisters, June Spence and Linda "Sissie" Slusser. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sally Zell Slusser; son, Hunter Slusser and wife, Terri; daughter, Erin Slusser-Pease and husband David; grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Daniel, and one grandson on the way; special friends, Ronnie Moore, Mike Wrenn, and Barbara Wrenn. A graveside service will be held 12 noon Friday, November 18, 2016 in the Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry A. Marsh officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am-12pm at Forest Grove Baptist Church before the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or the Eagle Rock Fire Department.
