Cary Eugene Housman

Cary Eugene "Gene" Housman, 77, of Buchanan, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer S. and Bonnie D. Housman; and uncle, D.C. Housman. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gracie Higgins Housman; children, David Housman, Barry Housman, and Dorothy Thompson; aunt, Hazel Prease; and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Sunday, March 23, 2014 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service at Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan.
