Caroline "Cat" Camper

Caroline "Cat" Ferguson Camper, 76, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ruth Ferguson. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Paul "Doodle" Camper; daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Jimmy Giles; granddaughter, Savannah Giles all of Roanoke; brothers and sister-in-law, Melvin Ferguson of Lexington; Frank and Allene Ferguson of Buena Vista; special nieces, Loretta Thompson, Brenda Shiley, and Donna Gill; numerous nieces and nephews; In-laws, Frances Mundy, Laura Compton, Dorothy and Roy Breeden, Margaret Camper, Lawrence and Ruth Camper, Joe Camper, Mary Houser, Larry and Helen Camper, and Leon Brannan. Funeral services will be held 1pm Saturday, April 20, 2013 in the Northview United Methodist Church, 521 Ridgecrest Dr., Roanoke, with the Rev. Joe Klotz officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery~Buchanan. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm Friday, April 19, 2013 at Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan (540-254-3000).
