Carl Cecil Childress,

Carl Cecil Childress, Jr., 56, of Buchanan died Monday, June 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Cecil, Sr. and Dorothy Childress. He is survived by his wife, Becky Childress; son, Jamie Childress of Lynchburg; daughter, Jessica Childress of Clifton Forge; grandchildren; Hollis Leigh Childress and Madison Aleana Skye Tabor; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice M. Hamilton; Patricia A. and Mark Worth; Nancy M. and Joe Lugar, Sr.; Dotty G. and Hunter Thrasher; Darlene and Zeke Paitsel; brother, Teddy W. Childress all of Buchanan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Springwood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home (254-3000).
