Carene Johnson Simpson

Carene Edna Johnson Simpson, 87 of Fincastle, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Correll J. Simpson. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Housman of Fincastle; special "sons", Doug and Johnny Lawson and many other foster children; granddaughter, Christy Housman; grandchildren, Marcus and Marcell Housman, Jala, Janell, and Canden Saunders; and sister, Lucille Baird of Roanoke. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8pm Monday, August 1, 2011 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. 254-3000
