Betty Marie Light

Betty Marie Light, 62, of Eagle Rock, formerly of Florence, SC and Asheville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. She loved gardening, flowers, and hunting. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, William Mason and Sally Bobbitt Light. She is survived by her love and faithful English Setter companion, Deuce; her sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Mike Boitnott of Eagle Rock; nephew, William Fisher of Pittsburg, PA.; cousin, Mary Bobbitt; close friend, Jennifer Hatchell of Florence, SC; The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 14, 2020 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, Buchanan followed by her funeral service at 2:00 pm, with the Rev. Morris Bennett officiating. Interment will be in Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Buchanan at later date.
