Bertha Geraldine Myers Moran, "Nanny", 78, of Fincastle, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016. Jean had retired from Botetourt County School System as Teacher and Bus Aide. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne and Kenny Myers. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Douglas Ray Moran; children and spouses, Doug and Linda Moran of Fincastle, Jeff and Brenda Moran of Daleville, David and Sandra Moran of Fincastle, and Sheila and Don Petty of Fincastle; brothers, Curt Myers of Eagle Rock and friend, Roberta Petty, Dennis "Doodle" and wife, Louise Myers of Eagle Rock; sister, Rita and husband, Jim Barnett of Roanoke; sister-in-law, Shirley Myers of Troutville, special family member, Kelly Hipes; and many special friends. Special thank you to Sandy Grabowski of Amedisys Hospice. Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon Saturday, May 7, 2016 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald W.
