Angela Rene Gregory Lewis

Angela Rene Gregory Lewis, 40, of Roanoke, formerly of Buchanan, lost her battle with ovarian cancer Monday, May 5, 2014. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Berta Linkenhoker and uncle, Pedro Brooks. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Edwin Lewis; mother and step-father, Marsha L. and Danny Sanderson; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah Elizabeth and Jeremy Muncey all of Buchanan; grandparents, Howard and Martha Linkenhoker of Roanoke; special aunt, Pat Brooks of Buchanan; uncle, Donnie Linkenhoker and his wife, Doris of Vinton; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carolyn and Ray Lewis of Victoria; numerous cousins; and her four-legged son, Jessie. Memorial Services will be held 2pm Thursday, May 8, 2014 in the Springwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Cook officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Ovarian Cancer Research, 2840 Electric Rd., Suite 106, Roanoke, VA 24018.
