Alfred Ray Crawford

Alfred Ray Crawford, 72 of Buchanan, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Virgie Crawford; brother, Earl Crawford; an infant sister, Linda Crawford.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cynthia Ayers Crawford; daughter, Linda Faye Smith; grandchildren, Amber Nicolee and Danielle Renee Smith; great-grandchildren, Lilly Anna, Ava Rose, and Remie; sisters, Shirley Manspile and Barbara Jean Gray; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12pm-1pm with funeral services at 1pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with Mr. Ray Sloan officiating. Interment will follow in Mays Kern Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.botetourtfuneralhome.com or 540-254-3000.
